Dental Implants

WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS?

Permanent solution for tooth loss

Dental implants are designed to look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Dental implants are titanium screws that are placed in the jawbone to replace missing teeth, from one tooth to an entire complement of teeth. No longer do patients have to have adjacent teeth cut down for a bridge or suffer with loose, uncomfortable, ill fitting dentures.

Implants can be used to stabilize dentures or replace them altogether with a fixed (non-removable) prosthesis. They can truly be life changing, giving people the renewed ability to eat virtually anything and smile with confidence. Patients can have a full arch of implants place and leave the office the same day with a new set of beautiful, fixed teeth!

Dr. Waasdorp is an expert in all aspects of implant therapy and oral reconstruction, and will work closely with your restorative dentist to give you the best implant care possible. Being a leader in the field, he actively trains and mentors other clinicians in all aspects of implant therapy.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Updated May 6th

Dear Patients:

As the world has undoubtedly changed, the health of our patients and staff continues to be our number one priority.  We are again open to see patients, taking every precaution and are ready to help you achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.

Your well-being is our top priority. New precautions and safeguards are being implemented when it comes to your visit at the office to augment our already stringent standards.
-Staff is screened daily and temperature is taken upon entering the office.

-Each patient is pre-screened and temperature is taken upon entering the office. Patients are also asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry.
-We have added advanced HEPA/UV light air filtration systems to each operatory and our waiting area.

-Appointments are staggered to comply with social distancing; patients are kindly asked to wait in their car and will be called when they are ready to be seen.  We greatly appreciate your patience with this process in advance and apologize for any wait times as we adjust to the new check-in process.

-Staff will be wearing appropriate PPE included n95 masks and facial shields.
